Best place to buy climbing gear?

after going to the rock climbing gym on campus and spending $5 for gear and admission, i've decided to bite the bullet and buy my own gear.





i'm looking for shoes, a harness, and a chalk bag/chalk.





does anyone know of a store in the pittsburgh area that would carry climbing/bouldering gear? dick's, sportsmans' warehouse, and cabela's don't.





if not, is there any online store that you guys trust?

I think the best deals can be found online. Just google "rock climbing gear" and you will find literaly hundreds of online retailers. Many offer beginner packages that include a harness, a belay device, shoes, and a chalk bag, (or a combination of these things) for a reduced price. I have bought a lot of stuff from "Gearexpress.com" and found them to be prompt, accurate, as well as competatively priced.
