When we climb up for maa vaisnodevi shall we wear shoes?
In the shrine no footwear is allowed. In the way, up to shrine, one can wear any type of footwear, however those who had an woe "manta" walks bare foot.

But, you can wear it on the way. Shoes will prove you good (not a formal one), but, u can find peoples with bare foot.
