Whats the best brand of climbing shoes?

No such thing, it's all personal preference.





I would reccomend some begginer's style lace-ups for your first pair, can't go wrong with 5,10 (that's a brand). Actually I just got another pair of 5,10 lace-ups, and I've been climbing for 8 years. I just prefer that style, especially for crack climbing. I also really like La Sportiva Mythos, but their a bit pricier.

Reply:It depends on what kind of climbing you are doing.





If you are doing trad (traditional) climbing, you will probably be using a different type of shoe than sport climbing. Some manufacturers make different shoes for people doing primarily gym climbing versus actual rock. Some make an overall shoe.

Reply:there is no best brand. it's all relative to fit and the type of climbing you'll be doing the most. read a product review guide from something like rock and ice or urban climbing.
